Spartan Warrior

Hi everybody!!
Here I come to show my latest character, the spartan warrior.
This model were inspired in the "300" Movie (yeah man, THIS IS SPARTA) and this is the first character that I´ve done in a very dynamic pose.
I used 3d Max for the base mesh, ZBrush for the highpoly details and pose, Photoshop for Texture and post production.

Lowpoly Cartoon Environments

Hello everyone!!!
This time, I´m posting some cenários which I´ve done for the same social game that I mentioned in one of the posts below (with the cartoon characters).
The ideia was to make and entire city divided in 9 blocks, but unfortunatelly the game was cancelled during the 4th block. So, I´m going to show the 3 blocks completed.
The props were done in Maya, texture in Photoshop and all imported into Unity

Female Body

Hello everyone, new post in the blog!
This time I´ve made a female body from a really simple base mesh, more a sculpture study than one complete character.
This model was a very good anatomy,pose and ZBrush Render study .
Unfortunatelly, I didn´t know how to use DynaMesh in the time I was doing the model and my RAM Memory couldn´t support one more subdivision level, so the region of the chest lost a little bit of resolution.

Sinbad (Lowpoly)

Hello everyone!!!
Here I come with one more lowpoly character, this time inspired by the really nice concept of Genzoman.
This character was a great study of anatomy, silhouette, polypaint and phtoshop paint,lowpoly reconstruction and a lot of other stuffs =p
It has 11292 triangles and uses maps of 1024 and 2048.
Lessons learnt from this character:
- Hair and beard using planes are really boring to place but the final result worth the time spent.
- Working with a character with a lot of silhouette is really hard, there are some accessoeries that weren´t shown in the final comp because the large amount of other stuffs
- Never underestimate the time that you´re gonna spent with a character with great amount of little pieces.
And before I forget, I´d like to thank my friend Felipe Verissimo that helped me in the final composition

Lowpoly Cartoon Models

Hello everyone!!!
In this post, I´ll show the models that I´ve done in the company that I was working for.
Unfortunatelly, the 2 games projects that I was involved were cancelled, but I think that worth to show the models.
All the renders were done in real time.
These 2 below, were done for a racing game.

African Mercenary

Hello everyone!!!
After 2 months, I´m posting my newest model, result of the workshop that I´ve done with Rafael Grassetti.
I learned a lot and it was really good to create a model following his workflow, that is much faster than mine =p
I used XSI for the base mesh modeling, ZBrush for the details, 3D Max/Mental Ray for the Render and Photoshop to the compositions.
I´d like to thank 2 friends, Marcelo Prado for the help in the illumination and Felipe Verissimo for the big help in the composition.

Long time since my last post, but now I have small time for my personal projects,
so the updates will be less frequently.
Here is the last model I´ve done, one of sexiest game character that exists.
It was a good female anatomy training for me and also a good ZBrush render training.

Hello everyone!
Now I´ve done  this Robin Hood copy super hero. I decided to model him because he has a nice costume and I always wanted to model one super hero. It was a good study of anatomy,painting and lowpoly modeling.

The second model of my demo is finished!!
I choose this character because he has a nice anatomy and I liked a lot of the universe of his games.
So it was the perfect cartoon to model.
